So, I've finally moved from Three UK to EE. The service from Three used to be amazing, but for whatever reason, in the past 1-2 years, it's been bad... At least in my area.

@andycarolan @maique I’ve been with EE for a good few years now and have found it the best signal i’ve had. It’s not the cheapest but i’m overall happy.

@matt Absolutely. This is why I recently moved away from Apple Music to Tidal. I feel the UI is better/nicer. Some will disagree which is perfectly fine.

Despite some real beef with Arc Search and spending a few weeks using Safari as my main browser, I can’t deny that Arc for the Mac is the perfect browser for me.

Here’s a few reasons that make it hard for me to use anything else.

@matt I don’t know if it’s how I use Arc Search with my iPhone but I just love it. I use it alongside Kagi Search and it’s a great for me. I hardly use my iPhone for browsing saved sites so I only have about 5-6 favourites on the browser. Most of my use is either for searching on web or on apps like discord and other social media apps.
If and when it’s available to sync Arc sites from Mac to iOS, I don’t think I’d even do it.

@matt That’s really understandable Matt.
As someone who doesn’t work in tech, Arc search is a really handy app. On the other hand, as a creator like yourself and many others, it is worrying.

I’m not here to defend all things Kagi, but those emails from the CEO seem…completely reasonable in my eyes. Vlad sounds pleasant enough and the mastodon post with the emails (sharing private correspondence without consent FWIW) misrepresents what was in those emails (he declined a call in the first email, not any further emails).

Again, I don’t pay for Kagi or think they’re perfect, but it feels like we’ve gone from zero to “Kagi is basically evil” in no time flat. https://mstdn.social/@osnews/112258784828818823

@matt I subbed to Kagi for a while until the Brave situation came about. I then bobbed around different search engines and I realised a lot of search engines are just as bad and the one’s that are not, are really not that usable. Google scraping and selling all your data, DDG has supposedly got some demons (so few people said when I moved over to them). In the end, I’ve gone back and subbed to Kagi after taking things into consideration. (1/2)
