and apparently my prescription is “delayed“. don’t know why, they didn’t answer the phone and I’m at work... not able to just come running. but maybe I have to. besides the , that is the medication keeping me upright and semi-functional while was eliminating the supplements and medications that make me sleep. Fml.

I attempted to help my brother with a confounding problem with his car this afternoon, and after a few hours of work, we were no closer to an answer than when we started.

Recently, his battery has been draining down overnight. He thought maybe he had a bad battery, so he got a new one. Same problem.

I went over there today and found that the car is drawing 1.6 amps from the battery even when turned off.

We started troubleshooting by pulling fuses. The car kept drawing 1.6 amps through all of them.

I pulled the main fuse, and the car still drew 1.6 amps.

For a while, we thought it was maybe the alternator rectifier, but that wasn't it.

We unwrapped the sheath from the main bundle of wires coming off the battery and found no shorts.

We disconnected the wiring to the starter and that wasn't it.

The car still draws 1.6 amps! We can't figure out what's doing it!

@MLE_online I’m a little fuzzy on the details, but it sounds like if there’s a loose connection, it will basically ground electricity into the ground, so it’s not really going into any particular device, it’s going into the ground, like a leak.

Poor Clara. she traded her cute, sweet, funny, playful Doctor for one that was grumpy, cranky, cynical and never smiled. and who initially didn’t know how to fly the tardis or who she was. and somehow that one episode, it was somehow painted some sort of failing of hers. 🤦‍♀️

Playing Rise of the and I'm mostly enjoying it, but I have a really specific complaint. The way Lara is holding this rifle and the camera position makes it look as though she's aiming waaay up and to the right and nowhere near that actual reticle. I just want the camera to tuck in behind her shoulder more.

It's petty, but I can't not see it 😳

@Hundstrasse it really does. The wrist position is also kind of weird, but I could chalk that up to having picked up a weapon that isn’t the right size. (my experience is with modern competition rifles that have been adjusted for me by expert friends.)
