Think I’ll be taking a break for a while. I have always been too much. Too much to fit into any boxes. Couldn’t fit into a male box, not sure I fit into a trans box. Probably some way that I don’t fit into a nonbinary box. Don’t fit into a work box, too many art boxes for me to fit into. Can’t fit into a trauma box. Tired of trying to fit in.

Warning to all: I am a bicanthrope. Yes, my bisexuality is a phase...like the moon. I become horny for plethoras of genders as the full moon waxes and will randomly thirst over thembos, hunks, and adorable dudes that I was nonplussed about the week before.

    And my attempt to go to bed early in order to get up an work on things in the morning has utterly failed. But I took progesterone two hours ago or so, so i don't trust myself to think clearly or express thoughts accurately.

    Meanwhile, my brain is looking for stimulus instead of going to sleep and just picking arguments with every person I've ever interacted with in the last decade or two instead....ugh.

    Anyone know where i can get a new brain? Pretty sure this one is damaged beyond repair

    Calling upon the FEDI HIVEMIND: I need suggestions on medium to shorter hairstyles that can accommodate a sweeping bang that hides the hairline.

    I am getting tired of longer hair and want to get a shorter cut than I do now, but most of the shorter haircuts that look cute or hot on queer gals like me rely upon a full hairline, which I do not have at all. What could I try instead?

    @rooster can’t I just give all my paperwork to a Certified Public Executioner and have them file the death returns for me for a small fee? It would really save me a lot of stress. What with :gestures: everything, I’m not even sure the pro version of TurboDemise would quite know what to make of my terminal situation.

    Update on the many mental illnesses of Joscelyn: Apparently, I just needed to up the dose on my antidepressants?

    Went back to my higher prescribed dose of my SSRI...and suddenly my brain feels normal and functional again. I had been on the lowest dose possible for about a year since that seemed the best balance of benefit to side-effects, but I think I just hit a higher tide on my depression making it ineffective. And when my depression gets worse, so does everything else.

    Anywho, take your meds, hydrate, and eat nutritiously my friends! Maybe go get some vitamin D outside too.

    Despite @caroline's version of retro fashion, I'm hereby declaring it . Look, I like cottagecore, that's all*. We stopped by Nordstrom Rack to see if we could find a prom dress for the kid - and they found an absolutely FABULOUS beaded and sequined dress on the clearance rack that fit perfectly. I, meanwhile found this nice brown flowery dress that just kinda works with my hair.

    (* Ok, see, my mom gave me fashion advice this morning (that's kind of a funny right there), and she said she thought the tiered cotton gauze skirts I've gotten recently look "frumpy" - and she did give it a little bit of a value judgement there. Everyone else says I look fabulous in them. So I'll take that frumpy label and wear it proudly.)
