@csilverman Interesting. Not sure if still visible in the screenshot after uploading, but it is visible on my phone: there’s a difference in color between the two posts? The upper one is from your pixelfed account and especially the orange is quite a bit less vibrant?

@csilverman Checked on pixelfed itself (via web and app) and I’d say the colors are indeed a bit less vibrant there, too, in comparison to the post on Mastodon. 🧐

Our PV panels are 2.5 years old now and I still absolutely love to check the stats. The amount of electricity that the roof produces keeps blowing my mind. We produce enough electricity during the good months to provide for another house with a family of four. We are not even ideally positioned and don’t have a large array (6.7kW). It’s just pure magic (or maybe physics) 🪄

Also, with bidirectional charging on the horizon an EV might be all the battery one needs. Depends heavily on how you use your car, of course, but it’s an option worth thinking about.

@SnookerPRO That one will hurt Evans. I tuned in shortly before the respotted black in frame 6 - which she potted, but the cue ball went in-off. I skipped through the earlier frames then, and she was in a strong position to win frame 4 as well. Even after 0-71 down in frame 8 her comeback looked promising, but she missed the black after the last red. Wow, that’ll boost Bai’s confidence (if necessary at all).

So if Apple remembers that it makes iPads, that’s what I want to see:

  • kill the Air.
  • "regular" iPad : iPad mini (8"), iPad (11"), iPad Plus (13"). 128GB of storage, latest Axx SoC, USB-C (at least 5 Gbps). 60 Hz LED displays, all with the same aspect ratio from the iPad mini 6. 399, 499, 599. These are the iPads 99% should buy.
  • iPad Pro: 11", 13", 15". Mxx SoC. Thunderbolt/USB4-Port. 120Hz displays. 799, 899, 999.
  • No base iPad should be above 1000, because it’s just not worth it.

  • For God’s sake: make ONE pencil, leave a pencil for the regular iPad to third parties
  • Fire the person responsible for pricing the keyboards, slash the prices by at least 50%
  • all front facing cameras placed correctly (landscape)
  • Put FaceID AND TouchID into the Pros (TouchID for the regular iPad is fine)

Eine Viertelmillion Menschen in auf der Demo - bis sie aufgelöst wurde, weil es einfach zu viele Menschen waren.

@csilverman Actually, I sometimes try to outline an alt text for your before reading your version, and I’m very happy when I at least get the order right in which to describe the single elements, so it all adds up to a cohesive description. I’m doing some accessibility stuff at work as well, and find good alt text surprisingly hard to do.
