Sto preparando un corso extra per la mia seconda sperimentale (hanno corsi opzionali a fine anno), il tema è "diritto del web" inteso in modo generico (legalità, privacy, ecc...), ho 4 incontri di 2,5 ore, pensavo di strutturarlo a "cineforum", avete qualche consiglio su docu/film sul tema?

@simonezanella @scuola @scuola @scuola Risk di Laura Poitras su Assange (stessa autrice di Citizenfour) credo sia l'opzione migliore. Un'altra opzione più di nicchia che mi viene in mente è TPB AFK, documentario sul processo a The Pirate Bay, fatto molto bene (ancora più divertente se comparato a quella roba uscita dal dipartimento di marketing di Spotify chiamata The Playlist).

This has mostly been reported as "trans women banned from women's chess" but it's much more sinister. (as if it weren't already.)

ALL trans people are targeted by this ruling. Trans men will be stripped of all chess titles won, which can only be returned to them by “changing the gender back to a woman” (from the ICF’s ruling). ALL transgender chess players will be marked as trans in their files.

If you play or know anyone who does take a stand on this. It's ugly.

@futurebird I was trying to think about this, what could a good policy look like? Elo systems are inherently relative to the pool of players, so you can't convert scores easily. You also can't convert titles, which have different requirements. Retaining "Woman GM" title for a male seems offensive and inappropriate as well. Obviously the problem stems from having different categories for men and women, which is necessary still at the moment to ensure women have space. What's a possible solution?
