currently playing through Pokemon X, and I find it interesting how Sylveon is pretty much forced to have an experience points boost

Eevee evolves into Sylveon if it has affection level 2, and at least one Fairy-type move

the thing is however, once a Pokemon gets to affection level 2, it will gain additional 20% experience points, and it's not possible to lower affection (and to be fair, if it would be, it would be cruel to do so, i feel like)

i think i may end up with overleveled pokemon in this game ​:sylveon:​

@yassie_j apparently it's because they needed some distinctive icon for their Start Menu button equivalent, so they picked a foot from their icon set as they didn't use that for anything else
