    Ever since normies learned of Lu Yu’s subliminal salt dose trick for improving harsh tea liquor, I’ve been enjoying the sound of heads exploding.

    Maybe we could prolong the pleasure, or even heighten it, by telling the world that Lu Yu would’ve recommended MSG or L-theanine had they been available in his day.

    I did sell a South Indian friend on its benefits for making typical bagged tea less harsh, though!

    Now that I'm watching it... It's "I, Robot" all over again (someone just bought the rights to use the title and some elements in a story that was already written).

    @juliobiason I read somewhere that the TV series draws most heavily from the short stories, not the novels. If that's true, it could be that the novel content is coming later

    I want to get uncomfortably into drinking tea but I'm not sure where to start. Do I get an electric kettle or one of those things that automatically infuses at a certain temperature? What style tea?

    I've been pondering this for years and still have yet to come up with answers.

    Does anyone know if you compose a toot on using a account will it give you the drop down options for plain text, markdown and HTML ? Or is that web only ?

    @JustineSmithies No it doesn't (Husky did). I think it just uses whatever your account's default is. I have mine set to markdown, so if I want to do something in plain text, I just use the web.

    (Subway Tooter here, but I think Tusky hasn't changed since I last used it)
