Maybe 10-12 years ago. I have provided friends and family with tech support for a long time (20+ years) and I’d say I haven’t had any relatives call me for support in 5 years.

It’s part user education, but mostly that the OS is generally so stable and solid that it isn’t necessary anymore.

I personally have two desktops, one windows and one Ubuntu. I use them both equally and have more issues with Ubuntu acting randomly funky than Windows 11.

I have a favorite link that for “full stand up comedy special” on YouTube and new ones pop up like every day. Listen to it on my commute, shower, dishes, etc.

You know, that’s a great point. I’d totally do a “shit job” if it paid decent and be a ton happier. I’m trying to organize and lead and only doing it for the money, and I hate it.

Also fuck your company for not buying the license. It should be a mandatory purchase. Not that I’m a fan of licensing on this shit but still, if you’re gonna get a server remote mgmt should be part of that cost of purchase.

I completely agree that there shouldn’t be all sorts of a la carte expenses and licenses. It’s horrible for the sake of organization, trickle expenses for “renewals” because it turns into a subscription eventually, etc.

At the same time it’s the reality and has been for a long time.

It isn’t just hp that plays this game, but still - fuck hpe.

Son is 13 and gets a lot of attention - especially comments/compliments from adults. Not lewd or obnoxious ones, just like “wow kid you are really good looking! Going to get all the girls in high school” type stuff. He was 6’3” at 12.

He is much more personality and brains than looks as a person, so I guess I’ll just not worry about it. Lucky kid.

I less the labeling system sucks, which it does. Also the rules. There’s no innovation and every damn feature of outlook should be basically available and EASY to use in gmail and any other mail client. The shit has been around forever and the lack of advanced options is just astounding. I’m simply disappointed.

If you search for the image online there’s another version that looks a bit more natural. I think this one has been retouched as it’s more crisp with more contrast with a bluer sky. But I can’t be sure because I’m just a caveman.

Look at the different versions. Which do you think is representative of the real oil on canvas?

I would imagine a large part of it being that the popularity of it is relatively new. …law.ucla.edu/…/trans-adults-united-states/ states that 1/5 are under 17.

Another reason likely being that the general population of ftm is low, as mtf contrasted with ftm is 2:1.

Another reason, as previously stated it makes certain demographics uncomfortable.

And my own anecdotal experience, they aren’t super attention seeking. Just want to live life, not in a spotlight.

Anyway just my thoughts. I’m just some moron on the internet.
