timbuck2themoon,

Yep. I’ve got a test instance working with keycloak. Post up the problem you’re having and i can check it against mine. I think all of it was configured via UI on both except there are two changes in the gitea config.INI that allowed that auth and auto created users if they didn’t exist yet.

timbuck2themoon,

Putting all their hopes on Wilson. I’m curious to see how it goes.

timbuck2themoon,

Nah, full agree with you. I deal with tech all day. When i want to game i want the absolute easiest experience.

timbuck2themoon,

Quite desperate.

I know people that don’t know much about Argentina think this was all a given (ie. the results electing someone like Milei) but seriously, the country has been fucked for some time. Always mild growth at best and recessions at worst, defaults, more bailouts by the IMF, etc. And a lot of this (most all of it) happened under the Peronists and other centre-left parties. They have a shit ton of government jobs which not only absorbs a ton of money but also is just rife for abuse. Let alone the pensions you’re incurring. Inflation is rampant and has been for some time due to all the above issues. It’s why dollarization there was such a topic (ie. ditch the worthless argentine peso and switch to the USD).

Seriously- it seems like a no-brainer to never elect someone like Milei but they truly are that desperate. The government has been mismanaged for decades. Not at all saying Milei is the answer but it is easy to see why some people would be willing to take a shot when you’re been mired in the mud for so long.

Edit- I myself am not Argentinian so maybe a couple of my details could be further clarified by someone with direct knowledge. This is basically a short synopsis I made after having read about international affairs for years and following their history.

timbuck2themoon,

Multiple projects that each spawn ten plus tabs. Why in the hell would i want to “remember” some obscure stack overflow link when i can use simple tab groups to keep it there?

And bookmarking something so temporary is also wasteful. Tab groups are a lifesaver IMO.

timbuck2themoon,

It’s more the media won’t sell that. It doesn’t drive clicks. They don’t publish anything that doesn’t sell and “president does a damn decent job” doesn’t sell.

The sky has been falling forever.

Fwiw, I totally agree he’s done great overall and especially with a razor thin margin the first couple years.

timbuck2themoon,

Morons- “he’s not a king and didn’t do everything so I’m gonna sit out and cry and let a fascist be elected who will be 100x worse. Look at me- im making a difference!”

That’s also the problem. Your kind are NEVER pleased unless you get 100℅. Wake up- NO ONE gets 100℅ of what they want and by doing this crap you make it so your vote isn’t worth fighting for because you’re not reliable in the least.

But hey, go off king

timbuck2themoon,

They’re so engrained i feel like it’s not. There are far better solutions than Microsoft (just like the same in the network world and Cisco) but most won’t even entertain the idea.

timbuck2themoon,

One of the more interesting things I’ve read here. Very nice work. So long as it is free of vulnerabilities (with your small codebase, seems it should be) then this seems like a great addition. Hoping for widespread adoption.

timbuck2themoon,

I stopped using certbot when they made it nothing but a snap.

Lego, acme.sh, and tools like caddy, traefik, cert-manager can easily replaced it afaiac.

timbuck2themoon,

An add-on like simple tab groups. Easy, effective.

timbuck2themoon,

Why would i ever buy this for sports? Do i want to be the only one watching it? Does absolutely no one have friends anymore?

A big TV is a far better investment for like 90+℅ of people.

Are you aware of Backrest? github.com/garethgeorge/backrest/tree/main?tab=re…

Didn’t know if you could provide a short comparison between yours and that.

Looking forward to giving this a try since i want to provide someone with a restic setup but make it easier on them.

timbuck2themoon,

Only a month or two ago I feel. No worries- the more the better.

I’ll probably give both a spin. Thanks again for the project!

timbuck2themoon,

Sometimes. Depends what you’re backing up to. In some cases it would work in tandem with rclone.

I really like its architecture. The efficiency is really nice when pushing to the cloud and not making so many transactions.

Because gnome fans are tired of everyone shitting all over gnome all the time, especially in a gnome community.

It definitely feels like no one really complains about KDE nearly as much as gnome. Like no one would care that you prefer KDE but stop downing gnome.

It happens here in a thread literally about just some small redesign. Why? It’s not at all relevant to the conversation

timbuck2themoon,

Car brain arguments are honestly the most stupid thing you can read some days.

timbuck2themoon,

I did this once. It was really cool seeing the city from the river.

timbuck2themoon,

You are like the most miserable poster with so many axes to grind.

Relax man.

timbuck2themoon,

Besides all the other stuff people mentioned, a concrete one is that you can stream TV via it for free vs Plex. Just add a TV tuner to it and away you go.

timbuck2themoon,

Exactly. Wait until they get their stupid arena more south and all of a sudden we’ll do the rest that way.

timbuck2themoon,

Except ms wants you running out of space and upgrading to a higher level tier. Upton Sinclair and all that.
