My #personalWebsite (https://tommi.space), even though relatively simple and basic, has a lot of technical debt (#CSS especially), and I am getting crazy cleaning it up…
I just discovered that @dweb and @internetarchive are doing a "virtual dweb camp" tonight at 7pm CEST (Berlin time) hosted by @mai with presentations by:
Qualcuno che ne capisce ha idea se in Italia è possibile mettere su una associazione senza scopo di lucro per lo sviluppo di software libero? (Qualcosa tipo la KDE e.V., per capirci: https://ev.kde.org/, o quella che stava dietro a Mastodon prima dei recenti casini che ha avuto in Germania.)
I have a git submodule that I am adding inside the repository of my website, but I want it to be ignored, except for its README.md.
I have tried two different approaches. In both cases I am able to exclude the git submodule, but I can’t find a way to include the README and use it as a regular template.
module.exports = function (eleventyConfig) {<br></br> eleventyConfig.ignores.add('inputdir/submodule');<br></br> eleventyConfig.ignores.add('inputdir/submodule/README.md'); // added it first to be sure<br></br> eleventyConfig.ignores.delete('inputdir/submodule/README.md');<br></br>};<br></br>

Also it feels like everyone else is keeping up, but they're not.
I think we're all keeping up with different pockets of stuff while letting others slide, and when I consider everyone that isn't me - yes between them they've totally kept up with more stuff than me!
What is great about this web dev community though is the sharing. We can't read all the things, but as long as we all keep communicating, we'll be alright :)
