Had an early dinner at Bistrot Chez Remy. Mixed greens and the steak. Ordered it rare and they nailed it. The mustard sauce was excellent. Was it worth 40 bucks? Probably not but it was a fun for a first time experience. #DisneylandParis
@troy I adored that restaurant, for the food and the decor. The ratatouille as a side was amazing. I would be in big trouble if I had easy access to that restaurant.
It’s insane you can’t have a magic band attached to multiple different resort rooms. More insane that it isn’t obvious that it can’t be linked. Even more insane that the hotels can’t do anything about it. Disney IT, please make this make sense lol
#MastoAdmins friendly reminder to also check that your automated backups are running (you have automated backups right?) and that they're non-empty, and ideally actually usable!
YouTube has been running really slow in safari the last day or so and I thought hmm, surely it's not adguard, YT said they weren't limiting the speed of people using ad blockers (I have premium so shouldn't matter). Sure enough, disable adguard and now YT is really fast again. Sus.
@bookstack saw your post about attachments which reminded me I was going to ask about this, it's been a request for a while and wondering if it's something even considered? It's (afaik) the only thing remaining keeping me from switching my personal stuff over completely.
@troy no current plans for that, but not closed to it either. There are specific challenges with adding any new content type, and a tightly held scope, so the bar for this kind of addition is quite high.
It's probably possible to support a gallery via customisations though as-is, had a request for one recently I've been meaning to respond on.
Firefox folks want people to switch but here's the problem, it's still janky as heck. Im just trying to get 1password working and it just wont. Not having 1pass work is a blocker. Back to Chrome I guess.
Someone on threads: they don't want Mastodon people because we're "that group of people" but they wouldn't further explain what they meant. I'm curious what they mean, because we're a pretty dang diverse group of people.
The rules are simple, first one to claim wins. Starting with the next post, I'll be posting a random game key redeemable on Steam. Please respond if you snag it to save others' time. This will be the only post with these hashtags and replies will be the freebies.
