I use this monitor setup btw, 16:18 aspect ratio and also allows dual input so I can split it vertically and have two 16:9 screen, like a console/dev kit or whatever or simply 2 windows snapped.

Edit: model is LG dualUP

@shuttersparks A friend of mine had an 18650 explode in a charger on his desk, it fired up and put a hole in the ceiling! I've been fortunate so far, but I have managed to short one out and had to throw it outside quickly!

@jpm The Discord client is completely garbage that I've tolerated for too long. Makes my laptop run like complete shit, sometimes unusable. I guess the web based version it is, though it's the same so I expect it to cause problems too.

    My god could people stop giving bluesky the benefit of the doubt by saying it's supposed to be federated? Cause atm it's not. The protocol could allow for it to be, but we have no idea when or even if that will ever happen, or what the details of that would look like. Currently they're completely centralized, they're already showing similar moderation issues to twitter, and we have no clue whether their federated model will ever happen and if it would fix their moderation issues even if it did

    Been trying to figure out why radio is appealing to me. The serotonin bump is nice, yeah, but there has to be more to it.

    Ultimately, I can't help but feel that it's a different sort of challenge. No routers to contend with, not nearly as much software to futz with, just throw some metal in the air and go. Probably why QRP operations, particularly mobile, interests me too. Somehow, declaring "Maximum firepower!" Just feels like cheating to me.

    Besides, it also circles back to electronics, another interest I'm pushing myself back to.

    Linux users - anyone know of any voice dictation solutions? Thinking of trying it to at least give me a non-keyboard option whilst I am in a cast. If you have personal experience please, don't just go google it.
