What is wrong with using a #mastodon instance to serve as a “virtual machine proxy” to #kbin instances, while #kbin is unstable?
I primarily want to reference #kbin content. Commenting on #kbin content from a #mastodon instance suffices for my purposes.
Can a #mastodon instance insert a new post into a #kbin thread? Threads are not microblogs. I suppose threads and microblogs are different protocols or APIs?
I've just set up a trial account on Kbin (see profile), a #Fediverse Reddit alternative. I plan to use my main account to see how it federates with Mastodon :mastodon:
