Wagtail 6.0.3 will be released on Wednesday 1st May, around 1100 UTC, to fix a security defect with severity "low". This fix will also be included in Wagtail 6.1, scheduled for release on the same day.

The Wagtail 6.1 release candidate is now available! Use pip install wagtail==6.1rc1 or your favorite dependency manager to add it to your project and let us know if it breaks anything. The more bugs we squash before the official release in May, the better!

Tom Dyson, a founding member of the Wagtail team, took some time to reflect on the ups and downs of how Wagtail CMS grew over 10 years from a tiny open source project into a CMS trusted by NASA, Google, the National Health Service, and several other organizations around the world. It's been quite the journey!
