My friend is a fysiotherapist. One of her patients is 104 years old and worries about her daughter who has senile dementia.

@mrundkvist @karelbrits my dear ex, who is too sick to travel, just crossed half her country to visit her mother, who turned a hundred this week.
A week earlier she told me she might not be alive for our planned visit in August.
Life is grim sometimes.

    @redegelde Oh, het werkt wel, maar ik haat het Microsoft-jargon en die verschrikkelijke UI, maar als je alle Microsoft datacenters zou willen opblazen, zou ik je zeer erkentelijk zijn. ;)
    Ik ben de wachtwoorden van wat applicaties in een K8s-cluster vanuit key vaults aan het laden en dat is een heel gedoe met managed identities en rechten uitdelen en zo.
    Goeie vraag voor mezelf, waarom laat ik dit operations niet doen…

    Wat zou het fijn zijn om een overheid te hebben die de burger tegen de macht van het bedrijfsleven beschermt. In plaats daarvan worden we er aan overgeleverd.

    Ik ben 54, ik kom uit een mild katholiek nest met vooroorlogse ouders, en wij hadden niet eens een gourmetstel. Volgens mij is daar niks traditioneels aan.

    Mooi artikel in de Volkskrant over dat bijna niets Nederlands is, zelfs de gehaktbal niet.
    Dat viel mij ook al eens op, toen ik de oorsprong van de slavink opzocht.
    Het enige dat echt Nederlands is, is iets van ver halen en er dan een sloebervariant van maken.

    Omtzigt: 'Ik verwacht een stapje extra van burgers' ik weet nog dat Omtzigt hier in Gouda zei dat het regeerakkoord geschreven wordt door lobbyisten. Ik vraag me af of als hij aan de knoppen zou zitten, hetzelfde gebeurt.

    It could be me but it seems like a lot of younger people these days are voting more progressive left-ish in favor of humanity and looking at a more open future

    I do hope we still have a world to vote for when our time comes..😟

    If we keep going like this it feels almost inevitable we have to start all over again

    @Tweetfiction do you think that is possible? I doubt Isreal will ever be accepted in the Middle East. I don’t see any solution to the conflict. The Palestinians will never accept the Jewish people there. Especially after how the land they lived on has been taken from them, bit by bit. I also think the right wing in Israel will never accept Palestinians nearby.
