I an age of trackpads and fingerprint readers I managed to cut the end of my index finger, on the dominant hand of course.
I was cleaning some gluey stuff of a pair of scissors, and of course, me being me, I manged to slice the tip.
So I am now going to be a middle finger track operator.

Arganos was a side-on action RPG title due for release on the by Intec around 1992. Featuring singing by Sumika Yamanaka and character designs by Taku Kitazaki - the game disappeared without a trace:

Started a new sculpting project in Blender Sculpt Mode.

I love SDF modeling, but I also like to remain adroit in traditional 3D sculpting. Both techniques have their own charm.

In this stage I'm determining the global shapes and add some crude first details.

@CWernerArt Yes, I usually also start by blocking out separate primitive shapes, but sometimes I like to push, pull and carve everything using a single shape, for a certain traditional clay sculpting feel.

@CWernerArt 👍 I'm about to separate the clothing part, so I'm working the other way round in this scene: once the major features have been formed, it's time to separate parts that should be separate. 🙂

Blender sculpture update…

Separated his shirt to a separate object, and started detailing the head.

I like Blender Sculpt Mode. I prefer certain tools over similar tools in ZBrush or 3D-Coat, such as Blender's Elastic Deform tool, making use of Kelvinlets for silky-smooth deformation.

@miekeroth Ik volg al lang geen nieuwsbronnen meer. Het nieuws wordt steeds ellendiger, en je wordt er steeds ellendiger van. Je zit jezelf alleen maar op te winden en op de angstgolf mee te surfen voor je computerscherm. Het veroorzaakt stress, maakt je depressief en cynisch.

Ik volg alleen nog wetenschappelijk en technologisch nieuws, en daar zit al meer dan genoeg ellende in, zoals de klimaatverandering.

@jasper @miekeroth @pascaline Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt. 🙂 Ben jarenlang nieuwscartoonist geweest voor onder meer NU.nl en NRC, en heb allerlei scherpe statements gemaakt die door duizenden zijn gezien. Op 'n gegeven moment werd ik depressief van het nieuws waar ik weer satire op moest bedenken. En uiteindelijk is de ellende alleen maar verergerd. Natuurlijk doe ik op persoonlijk niveau het juiste, maar het is een druppel op een gloeiende plaat. Dus kies ik voor geen stress meer.

Get a first taste of what will probably become the next level 3D maps / street view, using Gaussian Splatting to map environments in 3D.

In this demo, the detail level gets crude when zooming in, but that will become refined.

In 1994, our puzzle game Clockwiser was released for Amiga (OCS and AGA), CD32 console, MS-DOS and Windows 3.1.

This is the 4-channel music our composer Ramon Braumuller made for a 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 that was included on magazine cover disks.

The tune is 109 kilobytes, including digitized instruments.
