The reason I use a different hashtag for #SundayPix each week is that years ago it was used so often that pornbots picked it up. Imagine admiring lots of lovely trees & suddenly there's a lady playing Postman's Sausage. Changing the hashtag every week stopped that. It occurs to me that I needn't do that here, so maybe that's a change I could make. Remember there's also the @sundaypix group that @Tattooed_mummy set up.

Every Christmas for thirteen years I've run a very successful and popular Secret Santa on the birdsite, enjoyed by hundreds of good folk around the world. Recent musky changes there (rate limits, the monetisation of Tweetdeck) make it impossible to run now. I see no reason why I couldn't run it here, though, so maybe #Twanta2023 will become #Manta2023 instead. Watch this space in October. https://toot.community/

Not at my best this morning. Hurt my shoulder doing a lot of walking yesterday, and my baldy head caught the sun. Add to that a pretty high humidity today, and today will likely be entirely full of me falolopping and sighing.
