Look if the truth be told, and this wasn't going to be a bit of a pain in the ass for the folks who follow, I probably do this a while ago. Social is... loose, and I'm sure a lot of people I'm closer than normal to, really aren't unhappy to see me leave.

And like the longer I wait, the harder and weirder this gets because even though I keep telling people not to follow me, they keep following me. I got nothing man. This is a land of contrasts.

Just don't feel like buddy is giving me much of a choice; a lot of the people I actually like, are leaving that side of Mastodon to keep doing their own thing. Not sure I love the idea of "two Mastodons" but I can kinda tell which side I want to be on if that's how it goes and all the big mainstream servers throw in with Zuck and get defederated by everyone cool.

Sometimes it's just not about me. So here we are.
