Hey, people who know their way around personal and small biz bookkeeping/accounting/finance software:

What software would you recommend to a prostitute for managing her bookkeeping?

• Revenues are overwhelmingly cash/credit card transactions, pay-as-they go.

• Never invoices, but sometimes allows client to run a tab or pay up in advance so needs some client account tracking, but, you know, discreet.

• No customer relationship management (CRM) functionality.

• Services only, no goods, so no inventory management.

• Would like to be able to log future transactions when an appointment with a client is booked, and then if it happens click a button to log it as owed, and click another button to indicate it is paid.

• Using multiple payment processors, so it would be great if it is able to keep track of different processor fees.

• Integrated checkbook/account registers and expense tracking, so expenses don't have to be entered twice.

• Custom reports

• Desktop MacOS &/or Android.

what do you mean by "no crm functionality"? As in no outreach or keeping up with them, or literally no customer records?

you might wanna consider one of those ERP or low code things too if u really need a bespoke solution

The part i'm struggling to imagine is a bookkeeping application with no crm features but also able to track clients' credit. Can they just use aliases or must the software not have any such feature?

While i think the open source options i suggested are closer to what it seems like you want, i'm not sure they're acceptable. iirc they didnt force you to put almost any details for clients, but you had to put something.

The only people crying about how "it's dangerous for men and women to interact in the workplace" are those who associate with the behaviors being questioned.

It's honestly not that hard to not sexually harass people.

If you're someone who thinks it's "like navigating a minefield," you should really stop and take an objective view at your actions and attitudes.

Of course, I highly doubt this will apply to anyone reading this. But the point is still valid.

@Uraael no, i disagree. by not using conventional social media, i lost the majority of my friends. i want them back, and i want to be able to interact with them again. the fact that i tell them fedi is worthwhile but all they see is fedi politics if they give it a chance ruins that very chance. what am i supposed to do about that?
