Asking how to view content from corporate social media without giving it more information than an IP address and user agent string does seem on-brand for /c/privacy to me.

Since then, over 230 pull requests have been accepted. I had a branch where I was working on this, but a lot of code has changed in the meantime - among other things, ex the markdown implementation has been rewritten and, in fact, some of it is now outdated. Many files will still change and be rewritten before the release.

Before the first release, it will be done properly, and I will probably seek help and consultation from the right people https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core/pulls/937. Currently, in the project's readme, I've clearly indicated that kbin is inspired by Postmill. Unfortunately, recently I've been overwhelmed by some personal matters, which caused me to neglect certain things. Now I'm doing everything to bring kbin to the appropriate state.

Only in the same way that stealing code from a PoC would make me racist, stealing code from a Jew would make me anti-semitic or stealing code from a woman would make me sexist.

Since, without proof of any of that you're just making shit up I'm going to go with the reason that your post is being downvoted is that ITS JUST FUCKING STUPID.

It’ll get better once big sapphire screens gets common for phones. I think I read somewhere that Apple is thinking about it.

RobotToaster,

In some ways it’s got worse, older phones had bezels that stopped a small drop from cracking the screen.

Where can I get the data about Lemmy subscription patterns?

I have a fair amount of experience with data visualization, analysis etc and thought it would be a fun project to try to visualize the Lemmy network, specifically which instances have strong links to one another via subscriptions from users in one to communities in the other....

pAceMaker,

“my intention was never to harm Billet Labs”

Kid, you said “nobody should buy it”

The usual resource is to look at lemmy.fediverse.observer/list, filter by 1m, and then have a look at the top 20.

spez-like

That’s probably the biggest insult you can say ton any person on this platform

Because Lemmy doesn’t support OAuth and this is actually the only way to do it. Hopefully only temporarily. Edit: The thing’s open source, you can check that I don’t do anything with the password, I only use it once to login to the api and get the token, pretty much the same as I would do with OAuth.

When the fuck did a mobile hotspot become something you have to pay extra for?

It’s my goddamn motherfucking mobile data and MY PHONE. I should be able to use it however I want. My wifi went down because the greedy, cunt-faced shitbags at Comcast stole taxpayer subsidies to enrich themselves instead of actually providing the service we’re paying for. I tried to switch to a mobile hotspot and my phone...

LaxMotive,

Just downloaded it and I’m already sharing my connection with my tablet. Beautiful! Thank you so much for the link!
