I don't understand this viewpoint at all. Can guns help you against the US military? And even if they did, it would further drive the remaining the population to murder everything with more fervor. I think it's not as easy to say "arm up" when the government votes to start killing you, and orders the world's last military complex to go ahead and execute that order.
Have you seen the police acting as an extension of states blocking abortion and reporting people? Or police acting as a GOP mafia? Or police in general and their treatment of people? Why do you think they are armored up with humvees and military hardware? I mean I get it. I'm armed. But I want to understand this viewpoint deeply because I don't see this as anything other than a reason for them to simply firebomb us. I'm not saying to give up either.
If you want a revolution stack the military. Join the military. Or the police even. Mobilize voters. I honestly don't have a solution, it just seems like a facist society usually overwhelms everything because they have the government military/and or police.
I suppose so, but in a practical sense they will make laws that will negate your existence and will have police and or military show up at your door to enforce it. There will be no use to have guns then, if they even notice a gun they'll probably just bomb your entire house like they did to black wall street. They give zero fucks.

I remember reading about how the Nazi soldiers would beat small babies on rocks to kill them. I mean, it's just orders right? And these people aren't humans to conservative anyways
Cathartic but without real emotions behind it. Since as we've seen from COVID these people will cry about COVID not existing as they die from it. I fully expect them to drown and die, and lose their homes and still complain about Dems.

Because we need a safeguard for people? We should as a society alleviate suffering. We shouldn't surrender to dehumanizing, or ignoring them. Although as your comment suggests, we shouldn't give a shit either way
I think they fail to see that it doesn't matter. As long as it reduces cost capitalism doesn't really give a shit what happens to them. In a normal society you'd expect government regulation to step in to either alleviate or ease this change of jobs into becoming fully AI automated, along with some safe guards. But I just don't see that happening in America.

I mean an "average" computer would require a pretty beefy set of hardware. I think most of the average local llama's would run fairly decently on a MacBook without issue nowadays (that m3 is going to be a pretty awesome beast). But the quality is pretty reduced even compared to something like 3.5 which most people thought wasn't all that great.
But really, I'm excited about researchers have access to more computer for smaller amounts (see this https://www.chatgptguide.ai/2023/07/20/worlds-largest-supercomputer-for-ai-training-is-out/) currently we have 1T models that are good, but we could pretty soon have 100T models from the open source community. Let's see whether we can scale the hardware needs with the parameter growth so we don't need A100s to run a decent model.
