YouTube will now show a blank homepage if you don’t have watch history on (www.theverge.com)

YouTube is changing the homepage experience for users who have their watch history turned off. They will now see an almost blank homepage with just a search bar and buttons for Shorts, Subscriptions and Library. This is intended to make it clear that personalized recommendations rely on watch history data. The new design aims to...

I've considered it but the max filesize for dailymotion is 2 gigabytes so that might pose some issues for people.

so you justify the censorship of incels and their treatment as domestic terrorists?

Because incel communties have a known history of breeding violently unstable, emotional men to commit atrocities against women. Additionally, your solution is to strip human rights from (roughly) half of the population and turn them into commodities for "marxist re-distribution among males". If you don't see a problem with that, I don't know what to tell you.

at this point i would say the hard drive itself is compromised and formatting won't help. get an ISO of the OS of your choice (from another computer), buy another hard drive, then go from there. Destroy the old hard disk, and do NOT plug it into any other device before destruction.

Shotcut, Kdenlive has a really weird UI and Davinci's linux version doesn't support .mp4 files.

Jitsi, the open-source video conferencing platform, now requires a Google, Microsoft, or Facebook account for their online service. - Beehaw (beehaw.org)

While Jitsi is open-source, most people use the platform they provide, meet.jit.si [http://meet.jit.si], for immediate conference calls. They have now introduced a “Know Your Customer” policy and require at least one of the attendees to log in with a Facebook, Github (Microsoft), or Google account. If you prefer not to...

Honestly, fair enough. The fact that you can self-host is huge imo, which no one else provides and ensures complete control, unlike Zoom where they sell your information to AI companies.

Combined with the room temperature superconductor news I do believe we'll see something within the next 10-15 years.
