Given that there were 2 TV shows with the same tone, and a whole Evil Dead reboot thing, it's safe to say that Army of Darkness has gotten it's fair praise.
Super Mario Bros. - I'm sorry for Hopper & Hoskins' experiences (RIP). But between the directorial chaos, editorial saves, and constant drunkenness, they turned out a pretty solid dark cyberpunk movie that feels more like "two New York plumbers save the day" than the recent movie. The visuals mostly still hold up, the story is okay. There's maybe a few things that could be improved, but overall I don't think it's all that bad.
Wait, they're pushing for 2024? They pushed Stein in 2016. All they did there was shave a point or two off Hillary. All they'll do in 2024 is either shave a point or two off Biden, or they'll shave a point off some other "outsider" candidate / party.
The amount of Excel/spreadsheets I use in my hobbies and "leisure" time is massive. Otherwise, it's mostly about having surrendered to the presence of online ads.

One of the weirder phenomena of the low interest rate era in tech was a tendency to see companies primarily as investments. The goal was not to have a functional business, but an exit, often via IPO or acquisition. I have begun to wonder if that explains what Reddit CEO Steve Huffman has been up to lately....
Members of SAG-AFTRA and the National Association of Voice Actors united at San Diego Comic-Con to address artificial intelligence and how it can harm creators.
Why should the government step in for a private business? Especially if it's one that can be done better and more effectively without humans in the loop? Other jobs get automated - weavers, construction workers, and more. We shouldn't surrender to Luddism.
I've cared about animated works, and I still care a little bit about the product/franchise/etc.. I have never cared about the specifics of the people behind the microphones, or the artist drawing it or using CGI/CAD to create it. The "human factor" is totally unimportant to me, only the end product.
Cool. If the AI voices are an acceptable quality, cheaper for production, and faster to implement, then I'm in favor. I'm not super attached to a person or a specific voice in new animation or voice-acted media. Reducing costs and speed of media creation is a good thing.
Unless it comes with the old fishing controller (and that controller is also compatible with the Big sections of Sonic Adventure), I'm not interested. Half the fun of fishing games is using a goofy controller.
That's what the Unsubscribe button is for in the email, after the promotion is over. Or setting up a filter in your email to dump everything from Sega into its own folder.
It's interesting to see that in spite of being accused of being terminally online, I didn't boot my computer up until almost dinner time. I think it's probably a good sign.

On one hand, I support a strong robots.txt being in place. It keeps data from being used by honest engines (though what constitutes "honesty" varies). But at the same time, indexing and caching is how we can grow. If you want the site to grow, you want to get it to 1st position on first SERP.
The novel and the first movie are based on actual events that happened down the Jersey shore with a great white shark. Why would you regret telling something that's one step off reality? You regret telling people to actually pay attention to shark warnings and be aware of them? Or bringing attention to the very real issue of coastal predators? I just don't see the cause for regret.
