That is horrible all around. To the point where I’d wish that I hadn’t read it.

In a western country the parents would be to blame, but I have no idea of what India law or customs are. It surely isn’t safe to leave a 1 year old in the custody of a 12 year old.

I’d blame the government first and the employers next. This just isn’t a way to run a society. Like, my biggest question is why are both parents required to work when they have an infant and/or why don’t they have a proper caretaker for the child? Oh yeah money, that’s the thing on the employers part. Everything else is on the government.

Of course the 12 year old did the horrible act, and that is inexcusable, but why is he even in that position and why isn’t he also under supervision and why haven’t anyone educated him on sexuality? The latter being a massive issue for Indians outside India too. I’ve seen well educated Indians with university degrees attempting to rape women in the Europe too. Why are even 30+ year olds still virgins and thinking that rape is a normal thing? Why don’t they just wank it out?

This is on the government 100% for lacking educational programs. It’s not like the population isn’t fucking. We can see the staticics. Fucking deal with it.

You mean it’s built in now. It still has objectively existed for a long time now. There has been an app called AirGuard around for a long time. Also not every Android has play services. There’s a large degoogled operating system community now.

Spanien wird von den ehemals konjunkturellen Problemen, die nun durch austerität strukturell wurden eingeholt. Gut ausgebildete junge Menschen verlassen seit 15 Jahren entweder das Land oder werden Kellner für Touristen. Die Landflucht ist, nicht zuletzt durch den im zweiten Frankismus forcierten Schwenk auf Tourismus, aber eben auch durch Klimawandel, nahezu vollständig abgeschlossen.

Nun wenden sich die verzweifelten an Rattenfänger. Europa und der Welt stehen schwere Zeiten bevor. Reaktionäre wissenschaftsverweigerer die behaupten, wenn wir auf probleme nicht achten dann verschwinden sie, haben immer mehr erfolg. Nicht nur in Spanien: Schweden, Finnland, De (wie viel Prozent hat die afd?), aktueller protest ist ein gefundenes fressen für LePen, in Österreich regieren quasi nazis, Griechenland, Türkei, Polen, Ungarn sowieso, Indien, China, die neue Rechte verstärkt auch in den USA (der nächste trump kommt bestimmt)...

Die Nazis gewinnen aktuell. Auf der ganzen Welt.

Das wird noch richtig unbequem

Edit: da das hier viele lesen ist anzumerken, dass zwischen der spanischen Linken und rechten aufgrund der noch mangelhafteren Aufarbeitung des Faschismus als zB in Deutschland eine andere Beziehung besteht und die Rechte nicht plötzlich über Nacht verstärkt ist. Das ist aber n längeres thema

iPhones are still better when it comes to updates, but things have been slowly improving. A new Samsung flagship get’s you 5 years of support (4 major upgrades + 1 of security updates). A Google Pixel it’s also 5 years, but 3 major updates + 2 of security updates. Not as good, but not terrible either.

It’s still a problem for old phones, but at least from now on it should be better.

We should also keep in mind that when we talk about iOS/iPhones, we’re talking about one company. When we talk about Android updates, there’s Samsung (now good), but also Xiaomi and OnePlus (meh), and brands that release phones with already outdated software (really bad). [edit: not to mention different price ranges.] If we’re looking at $/€/£500+ iPhones, maybe we should compare them to a $/€/£500+ Samsung Galaxy or Google Pixel?

And iPhones from 2015 are still getting security patches.

The iPhone from 2015 running an old iOS version is not secure. Apple will release an update to WebKit or something like that to fix something being exploited, but most bugs are not fixed. The equivalent on Android would be receiving an update to WebView via the Play Store, which the user wouldn’t even notice. And this is even more true on newer Android versions that have critical system modules and features backported via Play Store updates

Apple is better than most Android brands at updating their phones and tablets, but don’t make the mistake to assume you’re safe using an old iOS version that was recently updated.

They do the same thing on Macs by the way. A machine gets ~7 years of support and they release a security update to old macOS versions from time to time… they get the headlines, people think they’re using a secure OS, but even Apple admits that most security fixes are not backported.
