I’m a professional film and TV editor. In between jobs, I recut the Kenobi show from a weak 6-hour miniseries to a strong 2-hour movie (including full sound & score remixing via split-audio I managed to get)....
For me it’s first person puzzle games. I can think of maybe a dozen off the top of my head that came out in the last decade. I especially enjoy when they’re open world. The ability to just quit a puzzle that’s stumped you and go try something else for a little bit is incredibly refreshing.

The wives of my friend group unanimously decided they straight up weren't taking part in July 4th until their bodily autonomy and right to care is restored. It sucked not having a cookout but I can't say I blame them in the slightest.
The perspective was "geez it sure feels dumb celebrating 'independence and freedom' while sisters throughout the state are being actively oppressed."
They know a BBQ is a small thing, they know 12 fewer people watching fireworks won't make a difference, and they'll keep volunteering, protesting and voting accordingly... but when you're struggling to bubble up any feelings of patriotism and failing to find enjoyment in the spirit of the holiday, why participate?

Cry me a river. Clinton had a plan to retrain and retool these coal towns your describing into productive green energy leaders and they rejected it because she eats babies and wind farms kill birds, or whatever. They are totally irrational and I'm not going to keep pretending otherwise. The real government failure is lack of education spending and critical thinking skills (thanks GOP) that is going to take generations to correct.
Edit: I'll add there are sparks of "hope" in rural america now that farmers are seeing the impacts of climate change effecting their yields, I think they are starting to come around. Probably too late, but it's something...
Impossible to say, there is no easy or immediate fix that I can imagine. I've basically accepted the underlying threat of fascism is something we are going to be dealing with for the rest of our time on the planet. Continue to vote to keep fascists off the levers of power, continue to protest whenever they have the levers, and pray the wheels of justice ground finely for enemies of democracy. Perhaps our kids or grandkids will find themselves in a better situation for their times...

Hi! im using unity for a while and i wanted to give a try to 3D modeling ,i must say i really liked it! but... doesnt matter how much i try,i really dont get used to blender navigation controls and camera controls......
I know this is old and other comments have it right- it's a togglable mode. And while I know it feels comfortable coming from unity - I would highly recommend getting comfortable with blenders default navigation, for example selecting an object and using 'numpad .' to focus it. The navigation methods blender uses is way more efficient for modeling while unity's navigation is better suited for moving around large 3d spaces.
Ideally your individual blender projects should be much smaller than a full unity scene. Think of it less like flying around the 3d space but instead having your model sitting on a potter's wheel and spinning it around.
