There were articles that this was going to happen a year ago. I'm glad I bought enough to last a while. Another fantastic hot sauce is Secret Aardvark. It's hotter than Sriracha but has great flavor.

I have some of both and they aren't really similar. Sriracha is sweeter and has more garlic flavor. They seem to have a different vibe. Both are tasty though.

I understand the corporate hate, but a lot of these comments are really short sighted. The complaint is against organized stealing, not poor Steve that can’t afford bread. If organized crime is swiping groceries at a large scale then things are going to go bad for the people that really need that location to sell them food. Dollar general is just waiting to take over where larger chains move out.

So anytime something bad happens it’s because of America? That’s convenient. I’m pretty sure law enforcement violence was around long before America.

I haven’t bought a GOG game since I got my steamdeck. The convenience of native steam games is important.

I’d like to see the hard news content integrated into a single news feed. Having many feeds when you can’t combine them is hard to use. But, I’m also more interested in us and world news than business and tech.

The dems are doing that, eh? Care to back that up with some examples? We know of one very Santos example from the republicans.

OC What are some less-obvious items that you must have in your shop?

I'm very new to woodworking and I'm focusing on learning how to use hand tools. I'm slowly acquiring more tools and setting up my workshop, but I just know that there will be something super useful that I haven't thought about, and won't realise that I need it until I actually need it....

I like having a Japanese pull saw handy for small, quick cuts.

Thanks! One of my favorite comfort foods is fried tofu with oyster sauce and scallions. This is a riff on that. Super simple and delicious.

Since you have experience, can I ask how much you expect it to cost to run? I have a couple decades in IT, an AWS cert, a great domain name, and a bit of disposable income. I’m thinking of putting one up myself.

I was looking through that and was thinking it was just reporting on the server configuration, but nope, all .env values are right there and nicely formatted. Yeesh.

majkeli,

If it’s abused it will be removed as a perk and military folks won’t be able to use it.

Click the cog on the right panel.

Yep, sorry. I looked at the wrong thing as a source.

Unreal. At the time Quake II was the most popular FPS and the colors and atmosphere of Unreal really were a new experience. I remember the graphics card wars at the time too. Really fun times for computer tech.

I’d never heard of soy curls. Are they basically hydrated TVP strips? How do they compare to seitan? And the food looks great!

One of the benefits of federation is the ability to choose your sources. If one doesn’t fit your moderation style you remove it. It’s a feature, not a minus. Expect more of this until the mod tools mature and trolls make homes among the open servers.

Good example! This is exactly the type of low effort, high judgement user they probably want to avoid.

When you have a group that don’t respect the rules and you don’t want to lower yourself to their level of discussion, you cut them out. Why would they be tolerated? And who is at fault here? The people wanting civility or the trolls causing issues? Why are you blaming the people defending themselves?

majkeli,

They want to protect their users from trolls. Blame the trolls.

Stonehaven today.

I broke out the big guns today and opened a jar of Stonehaven. I hadn’t had any in a while and work has been tough so I splurged. I also broke out my birth year Dunhill to feel extra special. I dried it a bit, got it lit for a few puffs…and then had to take a call. I haven’t been able to pick it up again since....
