Does anybody feel like the quality of reddit has already dropped massively?

I see a lot of comments from bootlickers on how the protests are dumb and stupid and dont work and engagement metrics are still holding but the quality of posts and comments has noticeably depreciated imo. So much so that whenever I visit the site Im actually shocked at how bad it is.

I started buying legitimate copies of games when I was finally able to afford it a few years ago. I love how GOG lets you actually keep the games forever and that's where I was getting games from at first, but then moved to Steam because of how much good they've done to Linux gaming. meanwhile GOG Galaxy for Linux has been a most requested and most ignored request for years.

ChatGPT only jumbles words together in a way that is statistically likely to resemble a coherent sentence based on the bits and pieces it's been fed, without checking whether or not they're factual. asking them anything doesn't prove or disprove anything. it says it's got an account because someone on the internet mentioned once that they've made an account to check it out and that they're excited to see where it's going.

it’s entirely grammatically correct

eeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh. the a/an rule is based on the first sound (phone?) of the word, not the spelling. hence "an hour", for example, where the H is silent, but "a heist" where it's voiced.

OC Reddit's in-jokes and overall sense of "humor" are lame and I don't want to see them migrate to Kbin.

I like the overall lack of in-jokes I've encountered here so far, and I want things to stay that way. This might be an unrealistic thing to hope for, but I like good, pure, discussion, as boring as that may be for some people.
