@ernest how do I report a Magazin on kbin.social ? There is a usere called "ps" who is posting to his own "antiwoke" Magazin on kbin.social. Please remove this and dont give them a chance to etablish them self on kbin.social. When I report his stuff it will go to him because he is the moderator of the magazin? Seems like a...

You can block domains if you click on the domain next to the post, go to the sidebar and block it like a magazine

It basically uses the same methods of submitting content as the website does, reading the entirety of the webpage in the process. It's much less efficient than using an API, but it's possible

And I believe you can do a multi line quote with 3:

>>> hello darkness my old friend
I've come to speak with you again
More
Lines

hello darkness my old friend
I've come to speak with you again
More
Lines

Unless I'm wrong and this isn't actually working

Hmm well that looks like it worked too well

Apparently it was like this when the Digg migration happened - give it a few weeks and it'll die down as people get it out of their system

None of the content from beehaw.org would update on lemmy.world, so if you (a lemmy.world user) subscribed to a beehaw community, no posts would ever be sent unless beehaw refederated lemmy.world. Essentially beehaw's server is not talking to lemmy.world in any way currently

I believe you just need to remove the exclamation point and search for ich_iel@feddit.de on kbin. Not totally sure why but I expect this is just one of the kinks that'll be ironed out once things are less on fire around here

And then make it a pull request on the front end's repo!

I'm making a bot to post RSS feed updates on a kbin magazine I created and it's not too difficult to parse the HTML either - a single regex to grab a token from the post form is currently all I need. Obviously once kbin has an API I'll be swapping to that since that'll mean the server doesn't need to generate the webpage for my bot

Unfortunately it isn't on fedia.io which is what I was hoping for - and there are lots of threads my bot has posted on fedia that aren't showing up on kbin.social yet

I'm used to using old.reddit on my phone anyway, so kbin's interface is great already

I believe those stats are instance specific - fedia.io's stats show ~17k users while kbin's shows ~120k

I'm not sure I understand why "Threads" and "Microblogs" are separate entities in kbin. From my understanding, "Threads" are like Reddit's link/image posts and "Microblogs" are like text posts. Why are these only viewable in separate tabs? It seems like a bad thing to completely separate certain content from the same Magazine and make it unable to view everything at once. Am I misunderstanding something?

@Sirquacksalot I believe you're looking for the "Article" for a reddit-like text thread
