squirmin, to technology in Twitter Sued for $250 Million by Music Publishers asserting Copyright Infringement

Well they aren't paying rent in SF or Colorado, they aren't paying Google for hosting. It sounds like they are basically trying to get sued by everyone all at once.

Also, OXO I generally find is pretty good in terms of quality. They were started with accessibility in mind so their tools can be mostly easily used by people with arthritis.

That was their state courts though. Not that it's any better, but it is different. I think this is good news for the anti-ISL theorists that Kavanaugh and Roberts were both in the majority on this one.

It’s likely they mixed up Skyrim and No Man’s Sky / Elite Dangerous.

I think what you mean is "finished Star Citizen before Star Citizen" lol

squirmin, to Neoliberal in Donald Trump and due process The real injustice would have been not to indict him

The only outs that exist at this point are either jury nullification or a plea deal. I don't think the plea would be lenient unless they have doubts about the jury.

squirmin, to AskKbin in What's the dumbest way you hurt yourself ?

I was in 1st grade, I think, and it was the middle of a snowy winter. My friend and I were playing "knock the snow off the tree branch" in the back yard with ski poles.

One of those ski poles got stuck in the tree.

Me being the bright boy I was, I decided to climb the tree to retrieve it. To give you a vision of what I looked like, I was decked out in my snow pants, jacket, boots, and gloves. Basically the kid who was mummified in his own winter gear in Christmas Story.

If you have ever worn those rubber snow boots that were super cheap back in the day, you will know that they do not have great traction, especially while climbing trees. So there I was about 10 feet up, standing on a branch to try and wiggle the ski pole free and I slipped and fell.

What saved me from a broken neck was I reached my arms out over/under my head as I was falling and ended up doing a handstand, then collapsed. This broke both of my wrists at the exact same time. I spent the next several weeks in splints and casts until my wrists had healed.

Because of the decentralized nature of kbin, the perfect idea would be that people join other instances to access everything, but in reality everyone joins a single instance and it slows to a crawl until it can be mitigated.
