What yanks my short hairs is, we all KNEW (those of us not inculcated into right wing politics) that ALL the election fraud lies were lies and falsehoods, from day one. WE KNEW IT, for a fact, without question. That it takes years for the perpetrators to admit they committed these lies is sickening, and a testiment to the true evil that men harbor inside. A need to hurt and abuse others. It really has implications far scarier than just being a pack of lies.
The only true grave threats to human dignity are the sickness of religious nutjobbery and instituionalized bigotry, which is what the Vatican (a shitty place if ever there was one) is espousing with this horrid document. The right to abortion, the right to surrogacy and to have access to whatever gender one wishes, these are moral imperatives that drive our species forward toward dignity - only a total shithead idiot would ever think otherwise under any circumstances.
He better hope to god there is no god, because any true god would only punish fear-mongering idiots like Mike Johnson and anyone else idiotic and stupid enough to spread such nonsense. What we need are billions more LGBTQ folk, and far fewer pieces of walking excrement like Mike Johnson.
And so another so-called sport franchise flushes itself down the sewer for its ingrained bigotry and body shaming depravity.
There is absolutely not one shred of evidence whatsoever that going through male puberty automatically makes you a superhuman athelete. There is no evidence at all that trans players are more intrinsically athletic than any other player on the field.
THESE IGNORAMUSES ARE NOT PROTECTING ANYONE'S INTEGRITY. They are simply demonizing and hating on a very easy to target group because they themselves are so ashamed of their own nonatheltic abilities.
The whole notion and meaning of the term "sports" is "inclusion of anybody willing to participate." There is no other criteria. Sports is supposed to be a fair game for all. Obviously the international cricket council is not just anti-sport, but anti-humanity in every conceivable way.
I hope all the sports enthusiasts of the world unite to work against hateful sport councils such as the ICC. Hate and bigotry and sheer ignorance have no home in sports franchises.
Kindness IS punk as fuck. I've long known that kindness more than any other trait is the real hallmark of intelligence. You won't find much of it around here these days.
In Utah people are allowed to turn right on red lights. But what most people don't seem to understand is, that means AFTER you've come to a stop at the intersection, and made sure it's SAFE to turn right. I've seen so many accidents here because people think if they're turning right, they don't have stop at the light - even though there's traffic coming through the green light side of the intersection. The problem isn't the law, it's that people don't pay attention and think about what they're doing. In every accident I've seen, humans not paying attention is the real cause.
A horrific tragedy that people like Mike Johnson funded and support every day of their lives. He regularly gets checks from the NRA in the millions to keep his mouth shut about gun control. The blood of every person killed in America is on his hands and will damn his soul for eternity, like all who support the NRA and all who take illicit blood money for looking the other way. There is no redemption from that sort of filth.
Me too, and it's really ashame, I've had to let good friends go bye bye. I simply consider republicans far too mentally ill and dangerous to let them be around my family and I do not want them in my neighborhood at all.
Having seen a solar eclipse back in 2017, I can say it was truly an spectacle. But I don't see traveling anywhere just to see another one - I mean it's interesting, but it lasts maybe two minutes and then it's over and back to normal. And I don't see spending all that money when you can get the best view of it watching news coverage on TV.
Imagine how much more costly it is to raise a child with genetic and other health disorders because the state won't let you abort the fetus once those abnormalities are detected.
There's an article in USA TODAY (in April 2nd edition I think) about how restrictive Texas abortion laws are forcing women to have babies born with Trisomy 18, a genetic disorder that forces the child to be born unable to breathe, having to be force fed through tubes and having to undergo major heart surgeries over and over again, not to mention all the medications they have to be given around the clock.
Most women in states where abortion is allowed choose not to have the child when they find out the baby has this condition. Unfortunately, it usually isn't detectable in a fetus until long after 12 weeks, and many states now ban abortion after six weeks' pregnancy.
I only wish that the horrors these self-righteous white turds are forcing on American women would visit them somehow, someday. And I think they will in the afterlife, for there can be no redemption for condemning babies to have to endure life as a series of unimaginably painful shocks and horrors.
