From where I sit, this looks like Google and HP working together to convince us that their version of Zoom is something new and unique: Google partners with HP to commercialize Project Starline for realistic virtual meetings https://betanews.com/2024/05/13/google-hp-commercialize-project-starline/

You'd think GOOG'd finally realize that the "throw spaghetti against the wall" method of product design isn't working too well for them.

Like, if anyone doubts this, I have some further explanation and examples I can send you on Google Talk. I mean Allo. I mean Hangouts. I mean Google Wave. I mean Google Jamboard. I mean Google Notes. Wait...

@RL_Dane I think you left out Google+, and didn't they have this thing called Picasso?

Oh, of course, the biggest flop of all. G+

Also, iGoogle, and there was something else very similar to Google Wave that had just as much fanfare and died just as quietly. I can't remember what it was called, but the name was very similar, and it was either a better gmail than gmail, or the predecessor of gdrive's live interactive features.

Yes, Picasa was the pre-google-photos google photos. I loved it back whe.
