Iโ€™m going to go a week solely using the Magic Trackpad 2 instead of my MX Master 3S.

My reasoning is to see if I can tolerate it, as the experience between my Mac and my iPad is definitely smoother using a trackpad vs mouse; but moving around my mac quickly will be challenging.

I would like to record some game play footage from my XBOX to my M1 MacBook Air. I donโ€™t need a webcam (no wants to see me ๐Ÿ˜€). I will add some subtitles to it later. I donโ€™t need to stream.

I am looking for an SSD caddy that can hold 2 or more SSD drives that I can connect via a USB-3 cable to my Mac Mini. I know there are plenty of hard disk caddies around. Does anyone know of a good one and even the best drives to put in it?

A big export day today. Just over 19 kWh exported of the 27.7 kWh produced. That is nearly ยฃ3 exported with a profit of ยฃ2.24.

This seems weird to me. One of my jobs as a parent is to make sure my son never has the hardships I had. If I can arrange it so he has the freedom to live the life he wants when I die, of course I will, thatโ€™s my job.

@bynkii @JustOneMoreThing Surely the job of a parent is to also in still good ethics and behaviour that the child will understand what having money means and how lucky they are. Hopefully they will use it for good and share it wisely.

NAD 3020 amp
Marantz CD player
Technics tape deck

Octopus Agile rates are not very good overnight. Better around lunchtime. I donโ€™t think I will charge overnight tonight. Export will have to wait until it has topped up the battery.

@nickmcg My biggest issue with it was, it was set to boost at 200w being exported. To me that seemed too low. It won't heat the water very quickly at that amount. I also saw it drain my battery instead of cutting out. I have set it to 500w now.

Even when the export is high say 1000w, I still think it will take a long time to heat the water if it needs more than just a top up. I think it is better to let it export than heat the water.

This is just my thinking. Not scientific

@nickmcg That is an interesting solution. I just let the gas make sure it is hot.
