How many people would have seen this one single portrait of a person I’ve never heard of in a fucking museum in Canberra? I’m seeing it in New Jersey, which if you’re not aware, is nowhere near Canberra. It’s a good bit further both north and I think west. It’s hard to tell.

A friend of mine, who I actually met through my younger brother, is a writer. I’ve been following his journey for years. Shawn and his wife Maile are both writers. They have five children. Maybe six. I forget.

The thing is, they bought a little bookstore in Lancaster, PA. They might be the most wholesome people I know. Such an act of faith.

I really do think I would move if Trump is elected. Not just because of that. But it would be too much. I’m still thinking Barcelona. My wife and I talked about visiting today, to see if it’s a good fit.

@timrichards I don’t know it was in Aus, but I feel like there was a time where there was less (or no) retail sales of alcohol. If you wanted a drink, you went to the bar. There was no entertainment at home. No tv.

Even if people drank at the same clip, they can do so at home and watch a thousand channels. They don’t need Cliff at the bar to keep them entertained.

I think I understand the idol worship from the deplorables and I understand the Useful Idiot theory from those who simply want power, but I have a hard time reconciling otherwise intelligent and informed people who appear to genuinely like Trump. It’s all got to be an act, right?

I don’t understand the weather in the Middle East. It looks hot, and you’ll see pictures and video of kids wearing short sleeve tees and sandals, but then women are covered head to toe and some men wear are wearing coats, but also sandals. I don’t understand the desert. So it’s hot AND cold AND there’s no water?

No wonder they’re all angry.

My granddaughter, and her school choir, are performing the national anthem tonight at the Phillies game. The whole family went to show their support.

I do not support Israel’s war on civilians. I do not support my country’s support of that genocide.
