~27 mile ride after work. Hard going at the start, it's been hard to shake the tiredness in recent weeks. But ... surprised myself by actually getting up the hills I've avoided so far this year, and found some legs at the end.

AI hackathon effort ended up largely prompt engineering the descriptions on the backend API so the chatbot would call it correctly more often than not. Slow, expensive, unreliable, and IMO worse than just making a list page for the data. But, you know, whoop yeah awesome AI!

I worked at Microsoft Dublin for a while ten years ago, and while there suggested we create a video portal linking MS campuses across the world.

The news that the public art installation video portal linking Dublin with New York has had to be closed -again- due to lewd behaviour from the Irish side proves I was definitely onto something.

With a bit of fiddling, it's working now for the edge cases that broke before.

One edge of the pit is a bit glitchy, but there is a workaround and pits aren't really a feature anyway.

Found some problems with the bob clipping, and I think the background restore breaks if the framerate drops. Camera is jank AF still :)

Set up the drives and RAID enclosure for NASv4 just to check they all worked. It's a couple more weeks until the mini-pc arrives yet though.

Thinking I'll make it a general Ubuntu box this time rather than a headless server, and switch the Windows machine to a non-dual boot setup.

Google: Unfortunately we can only close accounts that don't have apps. As your apps have policy issues and have already been removed, they cannot be deleted and we cannot close your account.

Think I'll just wait this one out now.
