@RickiTarr - That's nuts. They're the pioneers of perhaps most popular genres. Just sticking with contemporary artists, and specifically with punk, which is probably my fav type of music and from the outside might seem a white male bastion - and pockets are - but has from the beginning had so many significant Black, Latino, Asian and female leaders, from the Bad Brains to Death to Poly Styrene, the Bags, etc. Here's a good contemporary sampling: https://www.okayafrica.com/black-punk-bands-need-listen-to/

What cracks me up is when you go to a restaurant, and they ask if you've been there before, and then they say, "Well, we do things a little different here", and then it's exactly like every other restaurant, but more expensive.

@RickiTarr There was a place in Waikiki that had grills and they brought out your order raw and you do the rest. I think not so uncommon in beach communities. But I’d like to take it to the next level. The customer goes into the kitchen, cooks the food and brings it to the staff, who eat it. Then the customer washes the dishes, puts them away, pays, and leaves. It’ll be called Inverted. Help wanted, must have crazy fast metabolism.

Okay, a little mystery also for today. After the Toxic Club, my
brother and I got a strawberry limeade at a little drive inn, and drove around this Conservation Area, but then we start seeing this fence with these signs, it's like 8 foot tall with lots of the fence totally blacked out, and these signs placed on them that say:

Saline Valley Ranch, No Hunting, No Trespassing

This fence went for miles, and miles had to be incredibly pricey to put in, it reminded me of the fence they'd have at a minimum security prison, but we didn't see cows, horses, crops, nothing but woods and hills and miles and miles of giant fence.

We try to find information about what it is, but there's basically nothing. My husband looks it up on Google Earth, and finds Little Saline Ranch, and I look it up, and it says permanently closed, and even less information is available about that. Google Earth shows lots of wooded land, a lake, and a few open fields, but we couldn't see any buildings or animals, nothing like that.

So, looking up that I find this article about mysterious happenings in the area:

It mentions several people seeing a Bigfoot type cryptid in the area, so obviously the fence is to keep it in. My other guesses involve a government blacksite, as it isn't too far from and airforce base, or a doomsday cult, what do you all think?

@RickiTarr Bruce's style lends itself to parody (including self parody). He admits as much himself. He did a VH1 story tellers where he told a story about going to a strip club "before they got fancy." When he left someone spotted him and said, "Bruce, you shouldn't be in a place like that." He answered, "He's not. Bruce doesn't even know I'm missing. He's off doing good deeds." I loved Ben Stiller's spoof of him on his show in the '90s. I'm a huge fan, mainly the Darkness / Nebraska era.

How do you feel about physical touch? I mean this is the broad sense, not necessarily in a sexual way, but you can answer however you wish.

Personally, I enjoy it a lot, and find it comforting, but only from really specific people. If strangers or people I don't know well want to hug me, it's okay, but I won't seek it out. I think handshakes are weird. Hey, you want to hold hands with a stranger for a short amount of time for some reason?

@RickiTarr Yeah, handshakes are weird. Nobody is sure of the exact history it goes back so far. Maybe to show one isn't carrying a weapon is one thought. But on that note, I prefer the Hasselhoff Finger Gun ®, especially post pandemic. Saying, yeah I'm carrying weapons but they're just my fingers.

To be clear, though some may question as to why one would research the topic, they're the product of real work, real research. @RickiTarr So many things. Gosh. I assume this is personal ("your life") and I can therefore be selfish: degenerative disc pain and ulcerative colitis flare-ups would be up at the top. Back pain is more of a constant so I'd go with that first.
