Base building games, such as #OxygenNotIncluded, are like sand-raking in zen gardens for me: I'll spend hours and HOURS completely absorbed in making something intricate but as beautiful as I can - but the second I decide I'm done with that map, it might as well be erased from the universe forever.
I can't decide whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.
Despite having many, many hours in #OxygenNotIncluded, I've just set up my first industrial sauna (inc an aluminium volcano) and ... eh, not sure it's worth the effort. I made some silly mistakes/presumptions, which I've corrected now, and it's working but I think it would have been easier to tame to volcano as normal etc. Live & learn.
I've been messing around with different starting combinations using mods in Oxygen Not Included and typically start with one researcher and digger/builder but can never settle on the 3rd. Any one have any favorite combinations?
Hello Folks, i've been a bit absent with Real Life (tm) stuff, but please feel free to invite more people who are interested in leaving Reddit behind. :) And if any of the old "mods" there want to continue here, please send me a msg.
