Base building games, such as #OxygenNotIncluded, are like sand-raking in zen gardens for me: I'll spend hours and HOURS completely absorbed in making something intricate but as beautiful as I can - but the second I decide I'm done with that map, it might as well be erased from the universe forever.
I can't decide whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.
Le travail sur l'excellente #OST d' #OxygenNotIncluded c'est tellement bien pour bosser. Et si j'étais aussi bon à ce jeu et que j'arrivais à dépasser le cycle 15 ça serait encore mieux :D
Despite having many, many hours in #OxygenNotIncluded, I've just set up my first industrial sauna (inc an aluminium volcano) and ... eh, not sure it's worth the effort. I made some silly mistakes/presumptions, which I've corrected now, and it's working but I think it would have been easier to tame to volcano as normal etc. Live & learn.
After lurking for a bit, I've decided to finally make an #introduction post.
Quick facts: She/her, lesbian, married, #DogGroomer , #midwesterner , lactose intolerant, a bit dumb and easily distracted.
I haven't been much for social media since the small websites/communities I was a part of back in the day. I've lurked for a bit here just learning how mastodon works, and I've enjoyed even just that so far! I'm hopeful to shoot the shit, learn from/with/about people, and actually participate in hobbies and interests that I've had but have neglected.
I am unreasonably proud of the fact that I managed to finally set up a decent power automation system for my swampy metallic asteroid in #OxygenNotIncluded .
I like posting #FanWork#Rec s, especially for #FanVid s and #FanFic. All my recs are available through #AO3 and I'm gradually working to make them available here. I love #FanArt too.
Which games you've been playing the longest but never finished?
For me:...
