I run Fedora in my home-lab as the base OS for my server. It works well for me but I do occasionally run into an issue where Fedora will make a new kernel available before the ZFS project has support for it. {...}
Webdav over an Apache reverse proxy is not fun. Stuck at a Multi-Status error mapping it in Gnome File Manager. Mapping to the internal IP/port works fine. Can't tell if this is #synology or #ubuntu.
I'm about ready to move on to a different solution.
The #linux format magazine letters page always amuses me. Someone still butthurt about lack of physical DVD on the cover, and another reader willing to wait one month to read a reply to a question about whether to use Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or 23.04
Switched my Firefox from a Snap to a regular apt package; nice to have it integrate properly with 1Password. I assume it'll also work properly when it gets updated... the Snap package would leave the previous version pinned in my task bar, which would come up without my profile... spooked me a little the first time it happened. It also starts up much faster now.
