I gave it a shot, but got no luck getting animation data from a GLTF file. So, while I figure that out, how about switching to something simpler like MD5? ...and guess what? It's working!

@cominu I went the other way around: I started with MD5 for its simplicity, but failing to find any Blender exporter that worked, I ended up making a glTF loader (trying assimp in the middle, which almost always failed loading animations back in the day).

The hard part with animation in glTF is figuring out why those "inverse bind matrices" exist and how to handle them.

@guntha yeah, guess what? In the end I cannot find a good exporter to md5...I guess I should try again with gltf 😅
