people: what are your favorite apps? I use all the time, I prefer for , for rss reading, to quickly look at a repo. for system monitoring. That kind of thing. Any other great apps out there I should be using?

@neil I used mutt a long time ago. I liked it but too much of my correspondence is rich text. I’ll check out toot.

@jamesrylandmiller @neil I believe I recall @JustineSmithies amongst others, in having positive things to say about - a TUI email client that seemed to make folks happier than mutt :-) I’ve not used it, however, so don’t know about its non-plaintext-mail support/UX …

@neil @jamesrylandmiller links? I use it sometimes. I like to see the link’s destination shown in the status bar. But Unicode support is not much, as it uses a bitmap font. Lynx is better in that, but does not render tables very well, and it doesn’t show targets. Still deciding between the two.
