@iuculano yup. At best, this just pushes the Twitter problems a little into the future before they manifest on Threads, at worst (and more likely) this results in Meta introducing us to a brand new level of dysfunction thanks to expanded data mining.

FWIW, Meta cares about profits, Musk cares about Musk.
That won't ever make threads "good", but it's also unlikely to lead Threads to follow Twitter into regressive-right/Nazi hell.
