If you have not seen this classic film (probably the best DC film ever!), then I suggest you take some time out during the weekend & watch V For Vendetta this weekend.
V For Vendetta highlights life under an authoritarian regime & is more relevant today than it was in 2005 when the film was released.
I believe what made V For Vendetta powerful was the fact that the movie reminded the masses that they had surrendered power to a centralized, authoritarian government & it was up to them to seize that power back.
Here you had a government promoting fear & chaos...
