Saw THE BEEKEEPER (2024) last night. I, of course, loved this movie. I will watch anything with Jason Statham (I'm not the only one as it turned out after the movie was over last night. 😆).
I also got a kick out of the movie as a medievalist. Apparently, there is a secret society of assassins called Beekeepers, who protect human civilization based on the idea that it is like a beehive.
I just saw "Matrix 5" is in the works. When will Hollywood start producing new content instead of rebooting, remaking, or putting out the 5-10th installment of existing movies over and over again. Same goes for TV IMO.
I'm reminded of a bit from "The Simpsons" about Charles Bronson in "Death Wish 9."
This Sunday at 9pm eastern #MONSTERDON returns once more! This week we're giving ol' Roger Corman a salute, since he shuffled off to that great box office in the sky recently. Meaning we'll be watching THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM (1961), which also features Vincent Price :D
