I have a twitter list for beaches in Orange County, and I am in a beach community in OC and I saw the LA Co alert so have been looking for similar from OC officials. So far, no. And I’m about to take a walk. But I don’t think I’ll get that close to ocean just south of the Santa Ana river jetty… being cautious here

I don't know quite how to put this except you don't have to trip on a log to come in contact with fecal bacteria. That's the whole point. You're not going to see it maybe.

And I'm not sure I trust even an hour old bacteria measurement versus a brain infection.
