Part of unleashing the concept of personal freedoms, is dependent upon the notion of personal infrastructure.
The IBM 5150 Personal Computer w/64K of RAM on the motherboard and a DIN connector interfacing a cassette deck with Microsoft ROM BASIC was one such innovation (as opposed to S-100's) that brought such freedoms to people in 1981.
@pixelfed I would love it if I could expand it out to a family instance. I don’t need a huge robust instance, just enough for me and maybe 5-10 family members.
@pixelfed My life had me commuting between Nashville & New Mexico for several years. I photographed lots of roadside wonders, especially New Deal projects (WPA, CCC &c.) I've been wondering where they might find a home, perhaps this will work. More news to come, so that's a follow.
