@adam whoa, that is literally the only video game I ever played and enjoyed (I just am not a video game person, don’t hate me, I tried, I even invested in a PlayStation to appease an ex a decade ago), it is a very enchanting universe, congratulations to both you and your son!
@anniegreens It’s OK! I feel like we’re all somehow expected to appreciate video games as part of being a global citizen in 2023, but that’s an entirely made-up social pressure. Video games aren’t for everyone! And sometimes they’re not for us at certain times of our lives. I’m slowly starting to roll out of a two decade gaming hiatus myself! :prami_distressed:
@adam I think for me it was more "generational" as video games came into their own during my childhood/adolescence and all my groups of friends were gamers and skaters and stoners, so I was with all the right people to have gotten into it and it just didn't stick. But I have very fond memories of Myst and Riven when I did play.
