If you are ever called to jury service, always remember that in the UK the jury is entitled to bring in what's called a “perverse verdict”: accepting that the accused committed the crime, but finding them not guilty anyway.
@ianbetteridge@me More like jury nullification is the US version of a perverse verdict. We inherited it from British law when we declared independence. I don't know why the names are different, though.
