If #Vegas doesn't fulfill your demands, then I'd disrecommend #Kdenlive and #PremiereElements and instead recommend to try #DaVinchiResolve... Even it's free version is pretty cool and powerful and even if you want to buy the full version, you'd still have a single one-time purchase...
