@kepano Noteplan seems to be doing some interesting things.
I have no specific request, but they are not purely a PKM app and might be good to have your eyes on what they're doing in case there's any inspiration to be had.
@kepano For Publish subscribers, I would love to be able to share just a single note (and optionally all linked notes) to the web and get a quick URL saved to my clipboard, kind of like how Craft handles Shared notes.
Auto generated QR codes for these shared notes would be additionally great.
@kepano Calendar/task integration and widgets on Apple platforms.
Would be great to have a Daily Note widget on my homescreen.
Would also love to have my Obsidian Daily Note show my calendar events inline, with the option to click on them and generate a note from them. Would be additionally cool if a link to the note could be automatically added to the URL or notes field of my calendar app.
@kepano Ooo, that's new to me! Thanks! Though Avoid working on the same note at the same time as it may lead to changes being lost during the sync process. is a bit of a deal breaker if you're a distributed team that may well do exactly that.
@kepano I'd really love to see a focus on polishing the live preview editor to make it feel more solid and native. There are a ton of paper-cuts and even recent regressions which make me feel uneasy about the stability and longevity of Obsidian.

@kepano honestly, the thing which has stopped me using it is that I'm using iOS and Ubuntu, and I already pay for Dropbox, so I would happily switch to Obsidian (it seems cool in my testing!) if I could seamlessly sync between iOS and Ubuntu via Dropbox. There seem to be third-party things which claim to do this but they seem quite confusing. Understood that you might not want to put effort into doing this, though; I just wanted to explain why I'm not currently using Obsidian.
@kepano 1. Some of Tana’s magic. Properties are a nice first step, but it’s far off atm.
2. Functional calendar/planning built in: sync caldav/gcal, drag/drop effects and tasks in a sidebar. Many plugins bring some of that to the table but it’s a nightmare to stitch those together.
@kepano Voice recognition in the mobile app, making it quicker to capture notes on the go. I know we can record audio, which is nice for dumping thoughts quickly, but then I need to write them down on the computer later.
@kepano The mobile (iOS) experience is still quite confusing. It’s never clear to me how to manage tabs and which button will display the sidebar. Perhaps the menus could be cleaned up a bit and there could be more ways added to close/manage tabs?
@afif@kepano Obsidian notes are plain text/Markdown, locally-stored. I can't see how they can password-protect a note without irreversibly changing that format—something I can't see them doing..
@kepano Even though #Obsidian is great, I’d love to see: graph profiles/saved filters, groups, etc.; select canvas frame on-mouseover so one can scroll when the mouse hoef hovers the note without first clicking first;
Editor improvements: native underline text instead of html code; improved numbered list in editor, so the numbering continues correct (see img); indent in line with bullet text start, also above 9; shift+enter for unnumbered indent line list; image align and text warping.

Revert the change made in 1.5(.3) where outgoing links cannot be linked without collapsing the text/clicking 'show more context' in de side bar first.
This is seriously annoying when for example you clip an article and want to link to matching notes.
@kepano@obsidian A more accessible/screen reader-friendly app, mainly on mobile platforms where the experience is the worst, but on desktop it would be nice too
