It's infuriating that people don't understand that the White working class went from supporting unionism, Social Security, the New Deal, Great Society, and other Dem causes because they started seeing Democrats as the party of Black people. Their racism is ignored by DSA, Bernie Sanders, "Progressives", media and commentators who also hate the Dem party, and for the same reason, tbh.

I left it up to her and she had to trust that I would report to my insurance correctly. I did, but it really left her in a spot. Definitely not the thing white people like me normally have to consider
I was living in a bubble because of work and my neighborhoods until I got the dreaded, "Is this your car?" question.
The followup questions to my affirmative answers jogged my out of my happy place: "Are you a drug dealer?, and "How can you live there? (Corona del Mar").

One time my wife and I were taking a border shuttle into Mexico. We're white, most people in the van were not. We took some seats at the front of the crowded 15 passenger van next to an older lady. At a couple of the ICE checkpoints they just saw 2 white people in a row and assumed whatever about the third person in the dark van and I could tell it bothered her that they didn't ask for ID.
When we got into Mexico she was very happy and bought us a round of mini Coca-Cola bottles.

He was already 6'1"+ and it could have devolved into something else.
